Badung, Indonesianpost.com – Influencer Jovi Adhiguna Hunter faced criticism from netizens after he was caught mixing pork crackers with his bakso (meatball soup) meal at the halal restaurant Bakso A Fung at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali. Jovi Adhiguna and the management of Bakso A Fung issued apologies on their respective social media platforms for the incident.

“I and the Baso A Fung team have resolved everything amicably, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the owner of Baso A Fung and all the team members involved, who have shown a generous heart by accepting my responsibility and resolving the matter,” wrote Jovi in a post on his Instagram on Wednesday (July 19, 2023).
As a consequence of the incident, Bakso A Fung shared a video of the destruction of their eating utensils to maintain their halal certification. In the video, Bakso A Fung employees were seen packing the bowls into boxes and taking them out of the restaurant area.
Then, one by one, the bowls were smashed by the employees using hammers. Another video showed Bakso A Fung’s staff replacing the broken bowls with new ones.

“As a form of our commitment to maintaining the halal certification held by Baso A Fung, we have taken the best course of action by destroying all the eating utensils in Baso A Fung at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Domestic Departure Airport in Bali. Once again, we sincerely apologize for this incident,” wrote the management of Bakso A Fung on their official Instagram.
