Jakarta, Indonesianpost.com – Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have enhanced their collaboration in higher education through the construction of new academic facilities at Jakarta State University (UNJ), funded by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD).
Higher Education Minister Brian Yuliarto inaugurated Buildings 1A and 1B at UNJ on Thursday, highlighting the project as a model of international partnership for educational advancement. “This collaboration demonstrates how global cooperation can elevate Indonesia’s higher education sector,” Yuliarto said.

UNJ Rector Komarudin emphasized that the new facilities align with the university’s sustainable development goals, focusing on improved connectivity and accessibility.
Saudi Ambassador Faisal Abdullah H. Amodi reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s education sector, while SFD CEO Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad expressed hope that the partnership would help Indonesian students compete globally.
