Median’s survey on vice-presidential candidates via Facebook: Ridwan Kamil comes out on top followed by AHY-Sandiaga
Jakarta, Indonesianpost.com – The Median survey agency has released the results of a survey on the electability of vice presidential candidates for the 2024 election. The results showed that West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil was in the top position, followed by the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno.
The survey was conducted using social media with a nonprobability sampling design. The questionnaire was distributed via Facebook to active users aged 17 to over 60 years old.
Median stated that the survey was conducted on 400 respondents spread across 38 provinces. The survey was conducted from February 22 to 26, 2023.
Respondents were asked who their preferred vice presidential candidate would be if the election were held today. The results showed that Ridwan Kamil was in the top position with 16.9 percent.
The second highest electability was occupied by AHY with 10 percent, followed by Sandiaga Uno with 6.5 percent electability.
