President Prabowo Subianto has returned to Indonesia bringing what his office described as a series of “takeaways” for the economy and other national interests, after completing a tour to three countries.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said a number of state officials were present to welcome the President upon arrival, including State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, TNI Commander Gen. Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, National Intelligence Agency (BIN) head retired TNI Gen. Muhammad Herindra, as well as the head of the President’s private secretariat, Rizky Irmansyah.

“On Saturday evening, Jan. 24, 2026, President Prabowo Subianto arrived back in the country aboard a Garuda Indonesia aircraft after completing a series of visits to three countries,” Teddy said, as quoted by the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account in Jakarta on Saturday.

According to Teddy, the President concluded the five-day overseas trip by securing several concrete achievements considered strategic for national interests.

One of the main outcomes was an investment agreement in the maritime sector with the United Kingdom worth 4 billion pounds sterling, or around Rp 90 trillion. The trip also resulted in an agreement to build 1,582 fishing vessels to be produced domestically, a program projected to absorb up to 600,000 workers.

In education, Indonesia also reached cooperation arrangements with 24 of the United Kingdom’s top universities, particularly in developing medical education as well as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

On global diplomacy, Indonesia officially joined the Board of Peace (BOP) as a concrete step to help promote peace in Gaza.

Teddy added that Indonesia’s role in the forum has shown significant progress in efforts related to post-conflict recovery.

In addition, President Prabowo also presented his national economic concept dubbed “Prabowonomics” at the World Economic Forum (WEF), attended by 65 heads of state and around 1,000 CEOs of major global companies.

The trip also produced expanded, tangible cooperation with the French government across a range of strategic sectors, as part of efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s position in international partnerships.
