Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) Teuku Riefky Harsya views the 2026 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas), hosted by the central government alongside regional authorities, as a vital opportunity to bolster local roles in advancing the national creative economy.
“Synergy between central and regional governments forms the core foundation for positioning the creative economy as Indonesia’s new engine of national growth, starting right from the grassroots level. Through robust coordination, local creative potentials can be maximized to foster inclusive and sustainable economic expansion,” Riefky said in a press statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Rakornas 2026 serves as a strategic forum to reinforce policy alignment between central and regional governments, supporting the implementation of priority programs under the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
During the event, the government pledged to enhance cross-sector coordination to ensure success across key national agendas, including economy, investment, energy, food security, and human resource development.
Through active participation in this Rakornas, the Creative Economy Ministry commits to intensifying intergovernmental coordination to accelerate national development, particularly by establishing the creative economy as a pillar of growth en route to Golden Indonesia 2045.
“With the collaborative spirit forged at this Rakornas, we are optimistic that creative economy subsectors across regions will grow more competitively and deliver tangible benefits for community welfare,” Teuku Riefky affirmed.
The Rakornas, themed “Central-Regional Synergy in Implementing the President’s Strategic Programs Toward Golden Indonesia 2045,” was officially opened by President Prabowo Subianto. He stressed the importance of unity in diversity as Indonesia’s primary strength in achieving national development goals.
One key national transformation strategy toward a modern, advanced nation includes the Gerakan Indonesia ASRI (Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful) initiative.
As the organizer, Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian noted that the Rakornas drew 4,011 participants from central and regional government ranks.
The meeting also covered three main sessions on economic policy, investment, and energy, alongside presidential strategic programs such as Red-White village and kelurahan cooperatives, food self-sufficiency, Red-White fishermen’s villages, free nutritious meals, and law enforcement strengthening.
