Rupiah firms to Rp16,732 per US dollar in Wednesday morning trade

Rupiah strengthened on Wednesday morning, trading at Rp16,732 per US dollar at the open of Jakarta’s foreign-exchange market.

The local currency gained 36 points, or 0.21 percent, from Tuesday’s level of Rp16,768 per US dollar, according to data cited by Antara.
