Indonesia wrapped up the Track Asia Cup I 2026 in India with two additional gold medals in the men’s elite team pursuit and men’s elite omnium events.
Quoting the ISSI (ICF) website on Saturday, the men’s team pursuit squad featured Bernard Van Aert, Dika Dhentaka, Julian Abi Manyu, and Yosandy Utomo.
Meanwhile, in the men’s omnium, Indonesia dominated by grabbing gold and silver.
Julian Abi Manyu took top spot, with Bernard Benyamin Van Aert right behind in second.
In the same event, another Indonesian cyclist, Awang Prana Pradipta, finished seventh.
Indonesia’s medal tally also grew in the women’s elite points race, where Andini Putri Anatasya snagged bronze.
Fellow Indonesian rider Hadenova Majid placed sixth in that event.
All told, Indonesia pocketed four gold medals at the Track Asia Cup I 2026, held from January 29-31, 2026.
Earlier golds came from Bernard Benyamin Van Aert in the men’s elite points race and Awang Prana Pradipta in the men’s elite scratch.
The Indonesian contingent at Track Asia Cup I 2026 consisted of seven riders—five men and two women.
Besides Bernard, Awang, and Julian on the men’s side, the team included Dika Alif Dhentaka, who won silver in the men’s elite keirin at the ASEAN Track Series President Cup 1 in Malaysia earlier this January, plus Yosandy Oetomo.
For the women, Indonesia sent Hadenova Majid and Andini Putri Anatasya.
