Jokowi said he would invite Prabowo for a meeting and seek clarification regarding the proposal.

“Perhaps today or tomorrow, I will invite him to ask for an explanation about what the Minister of Defense has conveyed,” Jokowi said.

Previously, Prabowo presented his suggestions for the Ukraine-Russia peace plan at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue 20th Asia Security Summit in Singapore on Saturday (3/6). Prabowo had five suggestions, which included a ceasefire, mutual withdrawal of forces by 15 kilometers, establishing monitoring forces, suggesting the involvement of the UN along the demilitarized zone, the monitoring forces composed of agreed-upon countries, and conducting a referendum.

“At least, let us propose several concrete recommendations so that meetings like the Shangri-La Dialogue will have more substance and significance,” said Prabowo, as quoted by AFP.
