The Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Abu Dhabi has urged Indonesian citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to remain vigilant amid escalating regional tensions following recent strikes by the United States and Israel against Iran.
In an official statement posted on Instagram on Saturday, the embassy advised Indonesians to exercise extra caution in their daily activities and avoid areas that could be affected by the shifting security situation across the Middle East.
The embassy also called on Indonesians in the UAE to stay calm, rely on verified and official information sources, and maintain open communication with fellow Indonesians and family members.
Citizens who have been directly or indirectly affected, or those who know fellow Indonesians in need of assistance, are urged to contact the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi through its emergency hotline at +971-566156259.
For Indonesians residing in northern parts of the UAE, the Consulate General of Indonesia (KJRI) in Dubai has also made emergency and consular service hotlines available at +971-563322611 and +971-564170333.
The Indonesian Embassy emphasized that it continues to monitor developments in the region and will provide timely updates and further guidance to the Indonesian community in the UAE as needed.
