During the trip, Anis held a bilateral meeting with the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anouparb Vongnorkeo, aimed at strengthening and elevating the two countries’ ties into a comprehensive strategic partnership.

The diplomatic engagement was shared directly by Anis through his official Instagram account. He emphasized that the meeting serves as a crucial stepping stone ahead of a historic milestone for both nations.

“In 2027, we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two countries. This invaluable moment deserves to be commemorated with a strategic economic cooperation milestone,” Anis stated in his post.
