PKK Central to Indonesia’s Human Capital Development, Official Asserts
Samarinda, Indonesianpost.com – Retrieved from Antara, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Ribka Haluk emphasized the crucial role of strengthening the Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) movement as a foundation for advancing human development in line with the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
“Building the capacity of PKK cadres is vital to the success of this movement,” Haluk said in her speech at the 2025 PKK National Work Meeting in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on Tuesday.
She highlighted the need for PKK teams across the nation to continually enhance their skills, prioritize effective regeneration, and embrace digital technology in their learning activities, report preparation, and inter-regional communications.
“We are living in an era where digitization is no longer a choice but an essential reality,” Haluk remarked.
The deputy minister pointed out that PKK teams play a strategic role in strengthening national resilience, instilling noble values at the family level, and expanding access to basic services and productive economic opportunities.

With this in mind, Haluk encouraged attendees to utilize the national meeting as a platform to align strategies and exchange ideas to further strengthen the PKK’s contribution to national development.
She also referenced a study from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), which showed that the PKK’s 10 derivative programs have been effective in improving access to education and health services.
Additionally, Haluk reaffirmed the Ministry of Home Affairs’ commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s strategic programs across the country, with oversight provided by governors as representatives of the central government.
She stressed that the success of national programs is closely tied to active public participation, particularly through movements like the PKK.
