Indonesia posts US$41.05 billion trade surplus in 2025: BPS

Indonesia booked a trade surplus of billion in 2025, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) reported, as exports reached billion and imports totaled billion over the January–December period.
BPS Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics Ateng Hartono said in a press briefing in Jakarta on Monday that Indonesia’s exports in 2025 rose year-on-year (yoy), while imports posted a more modest yoy increase.
The main driver of export value came from the manufacturing sector, which contributed billion, while the largest share of imports consisted of raw and auxiliary materials worth billion.
BPS also reported that the 2025 surplus stood at billion, meaning the country’s trade gain this year increased by billion.
