Jakarta, Indonesianpost.com – Indonesian House Speaker Puan Maharani has called on OIC member states to firmly oppose any proposal to displace Palestinians from Gaza, stressing that “Gaza belongs to Palestine.”

Speaking at the opening of the 19th PUIC Conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, she demanded reconstruction efforts that restore not just infrastructure but also dignity and justice for Gazans, where civilians—especially women and children—face starvation and devastation.

Maharani urged OIC parliaments to push global recognition of Palestine and a two-state solution. She also emphasized the need for unity in international forums to amplify the conference’s resolutions.
