The collaboration unfolded when TNI AD Deputy Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Muhammad Saleh Mustafa hosted an official courtesy visit from the Singapore Army’s Chief of Staff General Staff (COS-GS) and Deputy Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. Wong Shi Min, at TNI AD headquarters in Jakarta on Monday (Feb. 2).
An official press release received in Jakarta on Wednesday outlined how the two military leaders discussed a range of topics, including cooperation in education, training, and enhancing soldier professionalism.
During the meeting, Saleh praised the longstanding military partnership between TNI AD and the Singapore Army. He expressed hope that this cooperation would continue for the mutual benefit of both nations.
Meanwhile, Wong conveyed his appreciation for the warm reception from TNI AD personnel on the occasion.
Through this meeting, he reaffirmed the Singapore Army’s commitment to strengthening ties with TNI AD.
