Madinah — Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region, the third edition of the Umrah, Hajj, and Ziyarah Forum has wrapped up its activities in Madinah, delivering landmark outcomes aimed at improving the experience for the “Guests of Allah.” The closing ceremony was attended by Assistant Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Al-Hasan bin Yahya Al-Manakhra and Undersecretary Eng. Abdulmohsen Al-Salem, who hailed a wide range of achievements, including the participation of 160 speakers and 150 exhibitors.
The forum also highlighted the specialized training of 800 personnel, along with the recognition of innovators working to serve 18 million Umrah performers, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s continued leadership in pilgrimage services and the value of cooperation among international experts, decision-makers, and stakeholders in shaping the evolving Hajj and Umrah ecosystem.
The final outcome of the forum brought strong turnout figures, with more than 50,000 visitors taking part in the exhibition that ran alongside the event. The exhibition drew over 150 exhibitors from global and local companies, occupying an area of more than 11,000 square metres.

To deepen the knowledge component, the forum’s three days featured more than 160 speakers and trainers who contributed to discussions across 25 main sessions and 40 workshops. As a result, over 800 human resource personnel were trained and qualified to serve the Guests of Allah. The figures crowned the success of an integrated ecosystem, which supported more than 18 million Umrah performers, recording a growth rate of 214%, and achieving a satisfaction rate exceeding 94%. The Nusuk application also reached 51 million users worldwide, while 87 historical and enriched sites were developed.
On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, Dr. Ghassan bin Rashid Al-Nuwaimi, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, said the accompanying exhibition featured more than 150 exhibitors across an area exceeding 11,000 square metres. He added that the forum strengthened human resource efficiency by bringing together more than 160 speakers and trainers, expanding the programme through 25 main sessions and 40 workshops, and resulting in the training and qualification of more than 800 personnel to serve the Guests of Allah.
Al-Nuwaimi confirmed these efforts. After the official speeches concluded, the ceremony included the crowning of participating teams and honouring distinguished contributors, as awards were presented to successful partners and winners in the technical innovation track in recognition of advanced digital solutions. The event also included awards for outstanding startups from the business accelerator and the handing over of the “Umrah Communication Award” to the winners, alongside several other honours for Umrah companies and external agents—marking the close of a global event aimed at shaping the future of Umrah and Ziyarah and unifying efforts to further enrich the experience of the Guests of Allah.
