SBY Talks About Good Intentions Behind Puan’s Meeting with AHY

Jakarta, Indonesianpost.com – Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) has discussed the good intentions behind the planned meeting between Puan Maharani and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). SBY expressed that AHY is ready to meet and have a conversation with Puan, showing goodwill in his response.

“As far as I know, because I am not directly involved at the moment, AHY, as the leader of the Democratic Party, responded to the invitation from Puan of PDIP to hold a meeting and have a conversation,” said SBY at the GBK area on Sunday (11/6/2023).

The former 6th President of Indonesia believes that a meeting driven by good intentions will yield positive outcomes. He expressed his hope that the meeting between AHY and Puan will be beneficial for the future of Indonesia.

“The Democratic Party always believes that a meeting rooted in good intentions and good objectives, to discuss national issues, is certainly useful. That’s what I can convey for now. Just follow the developments, but what’s clear is that a meeting with good intentions, regardless of who is involved, always brings goodness. Thank you,” he stated.
