J Trust Bank Backs Women’s Golf Development Through Indonesia Women’s Open 2026
PT Bank J Trust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of women’s golf talent in Indonesia and across the Asia-Pacific through its sponsorship of the Indonesia Women’s Open (IWO) 2026.
The professional tournament was held from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, 2026, at Damai Indah Golf Club’s BSD Course in South Tangerang, Banten. The competition drew more than 120 golfers from 12 Asia-Pacific countries and offered total prize money of US$ 600,000 (around Rp 10 billion), making it one of the region’s biggest women’s golf events by purse size.
J Trust Bank president director Ritsuo Fukadai said the bank’s involvement in IWO 2026 forms part of a long-term strategy to strengthen the sports ecosystem—particularly women’s golf—while helping Indonesian athletes raise their performance at regional and global levels.
“We are proud to support IWO 2026 and to see the athletes demonstrate their dedication and best abilities. This support is a strategic step for us to advance the women’s golf ecosystem in Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific,” Fukadai said.

At the event, Japan’s Aihi Takano—who is sponsored by J Trust Bank—finished ninth with an overall score of 7-under. The result extended Takano’s strong form after she made history as the youngest-ever winner at Japan’s Yonex Ladies Golf Tournament in 2025.
The Indonesia Women’s Open 2026 title went to Thailand’s Jaravee Boonchant, who posted an impressive 13-under total.
The tournament was organized by the Asian Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF) in collaboration with the Indonesian Golf Association (PGI) and the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Tour (KLPGA). Despite bouts of extreme rain, spectator interest remained high, and the public was allowed to watch free of charge.
J Trust Bank said it hopes sustained support for professional sporting events will help produce more high-achieving athletes while reinforcing Indonesia’s image as a capable host of international-standard competitions.
