- Iran launched missile strikes targeting US military assets in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, marking a sharp escalation in regional tensions.

- Tehran says the attacks are part of a broader retaliation campaign, with 21 targets hit and a US MQ-9 Reaper drone reportedly downed.
Jakarta — Iran’s military has continued its retaliatory campaign following recent United States airstrikes on Iranian territory, escalating tensions across West Asia after an Apache helicopter incident triggered a wider confrontation.
Over the past week, Iranian strikes have consistently targeted US-linked positions in Bahrain. The scope of the conflict has now widened, with Jordan reportedly coming under attack amid suspicions of its involvement in supporting US military operations.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its Aerospace Force had launched a fresh round of missile strikes targeting the US Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain. In addition, Iranian forces claimed to have conducted attacks against sites in Kuwait.
Kuwait’s military confirmed that its air defense systems were activated and successfully intercepted incoming projectiles believed to have originated from Iranian territory.

According to Al Jazeera, the most severe developments occurred in Jordan. The IRGC stated it had targeted four strategic locations at Al Azraq Air Base, a facility known to host US military personnel.
The strikes, reportedly carried out using long-range solid-fuel missiles, were said to have hit and destroyed hangars housing advanced F-35 stealth fighter jets, along with key command and control centers at the base.
Citing Al Jazeera, Iranian authorities described the operation as part of a broader retaliatory campaign. Tehran claimed it had struck a total of 21 targets across multiple US air and naval bases in the region, and also reported downing an American MQ-9 Reaper drone allegedly operating within Iranian airspace.
