JAKARTA, INDONESIAN POST – Danantara Indonesia is exploring a partnership with TIME to promote Indonesia’s investment potential, following the inclusion of its name and logo at TIME100 Next 2026 in New York.
Danantara previously said it had made no payment and allocated no sponsorship funds for the event.
According to Danantara, TIME included the logo as an advance gesture of support while the two sides discussed a strategic partnership involving nonfinancial, in-kind support for future international forums, including events in Davos, Switzerland.
“The inclusion of Danantara’s logo at TIME100 Next is part of an in-kind support arrangement provided by TIME as discussions continue on cooperation at international forums, such as the TIME Davos Forum,” Danantara Indonesia Managing Director for Global Relations and Communications Pahala Mansury said in an official statement issued in Jakarta on Sunday.
Pahala said the exploratory talks also covered the promotion of Indonesia’s strategic sectors, which he described as offering significant potential and strong appeal to global investors.
He said Danantara also intended to use the partnership to promote sectors including film and culture, the creative economy, tourism and sustainable investment.
“As of now, discussions on the partnership remain at an exploratory stage,” Pahala said.
The proposed in-kind arrangement covers Danantara’s participation in nine international TIME forums, including TIME100 Davos Dinner & Talks, TIME100 Impact Dinner, TIME100 AI Leadership Forum, focused on artificial intelligence, and TIME Earth Awards.
Pahala said participation in the global network was part of Danantara’s efforts to showcase Indonesia’s investment potential and strengthen ties with international investors and business leaders.
He said those efforts would continue to prioritize good corporate governance, accountability and the national interest.
TIME100 Next 2026 is TIME magazine’s annual list and awards event recognizing 100 influential young figures and emerging leaders whom the magazine considers to be shaping the future.
