Hartono urged government ministries and agencies as well as regional authorities to affix the logo on to every outdoor display and banner installed to commemorate the independence anniversary.
“I expect the outdoor display, complete with the logo, to be installed by mid-July, on dates 15, 16, or 17,” he stated.

Meanwhile, ADGI Chairperson Richard Ned Hansel explained that the solid color in the number “7” was emblematic of the spirit of collective responsibility and is one of the visual concept elements in the logo design.
“The number ‘8’ formed by five red lines represents Pancasila,” Hansel remarked.
Meanwhile, the overlapping of “7” and “8” in the logo signifies the spirit of continuity, and the logo also represents the spirit of continuity, advancement, and globalization.
According to Hansel, the solid and striated patterns in the numbers also have their own meaning.
“The solid line that points upward represents advancing movement, while the stacked lines represent mutual assistance,” the ADGI head remarked.
