Prabowo had five suggestions, which included a ceasefire, mutual withdrawal of forces by 15 kilometers, establishing monitoring forces, suggesting the involvement of the UN along the demilitarized zone, the monitoring forces composed of agreed-upon countries, and conducting a referendum.

“At least, let us propose several concrete recommendations so that meetings like the Shangri-La Dialogue will have more substance and significance,” said Prabowo, as quoted by AFP.
